Programme Overview
The TIGER programme is a two-module programme, designed to enable your organisation to accelerate growth and enhance performance for unprecendented results.
Module A: Identify the Inner Game
- Gain profound self-awareness: Delve deep into automatic behaviors, attitudes and emotions
- Break free from limitations: Shatter limiting beliefs and overcome whatever is holding the organisation back
- Reprogram the subconscious: Discover how to rewrite the inner script for success
Module B: Communication and Relationships
- Master the art of communication: Transform interactions for strong, authentic relationships
- Build meaningful connections: Cultivate empathy and understanding in human interactions
- Target Group: 18 to 22 participants per module
- Duration: Two full days per module
- Fee: RM21,000 per module
- HRDC claimable
Key conditions:
- Module A and Module B must be completed by the same group of participants.
- Both modules must be completed within 30 days, starting from the commencement of Module A.
The Methodology
It’s rare for a learner to master a concept by simply taking one course, watching a single video, or reading a book. Instead, learning seems to unfold in a cyclical pattern, where individuals move through four distinct phases. A few examples to illustrate this:
Learning To Drive
Think about learning to drive. A learner don’t become a skilled driver just by reading the manual or watching a tutorial. First, the learner gain the theoretical knowledge, then practice it awkwardly on the road, and after repeated experiences, it begins to feel natural. Finally, the learner reflect on the performance to refine the skills further.
Learning To Cook
Consider learning to cook a new recipe. The learner might watch a video or follow written instructions, but the first attempt often doesn’t turn out perfect. It’s through repeated attempts—tasting, tweaking, and understanding the process—that eventually make it on their own.
Public Speaking
Or take public speaking. No one becomes a confident speaker by simply attending one workshop. First, the learner learn techniques, then apply them nervously in front of an audience. With feedback and practice, the learner gains confidence and improve, repeating this cycle until truly own their ability to communicate effectively.
Kolb’s Experiential Learning Model emphasizes learning as a continuous process where knowledge is gained through experience. It involves four key stages:
- Concrete Experience
Learning begins with direct involvement in a specific experience. Participants actively engage in an activity or situation that serves as a foundation for future learning. This stage emphasizes hands-on interaction, enabling learners to immerse themselves in real-world scenarios. - Reflective Observation
Following the experience, learners take time to reflect on what they observed and felt during the activity. This stage encourages critical thinking, helping individuals analyze the experience from multiple perspectives and identify patterns or areas for improvement. - Abstract Conceptualization
Based on reflections, learners develop theories, models, or generalizations to make sense of their experience. This stage involves connecting observations to existing knowledge or frameworks and formulating new ideas to address challenges or improve outcomes. - Active Experimentation
Learners test their newly developed concepts in real-world situations. By applying what they have learned, they gain practical insights, refine their understanding, and repeat the cycle with enhanced skills and knowledge.
Kolb’s model is a proven framework for designing effective learning experiences that engage every stage of the learning process. It moves organizations away from a “one-and-done” mindset, emphasizing continuous learning. By creating a cycle of ongoing opportunities, the model ensures team members grow consistently, driving both individual and organizational success through a process-focused approach.
